Full Time

Dallas, TX

Posted 2 weeks ago

Company Description Anterra is a fast-growing, Dallas-based multifamily property management company operating more than 10,000 units across DFW, Austin, and San Antonio. We are in the middle of a significant growth phase, adding new institutional and private clients, expanding our portfolio, and building the team to support it all. Dallas is one of the top multifamily investment markets in the country, and we sit at the center of it.

This is not a company that's standing still. If you want to be part of something that's scaling, where your work matters and your contributions are visible, keep reading.

Role Description We are hiring a Senior Property Accountant to join our corporate accounting team. As Anterra grows, so does the volume of properties, financial reporting, and client deliverables our team manages. This role provides critical bandwidth to support that growth and is an opportunity to work alongside experienced leadership in a hands-on, high-impact environment.

You will report to the Director of Property Accounting and work closely with the CFO and the broader accounting team. This is a hybrid position based out of our corporate office in Dallas.

What You'll Do

  • Execute comprehensive Property Accounting workflows for a dedicated portfolio of Multifamily Housing assets.
  • Perform monthly General Ledger Reconciliation, identifying and resolving variances to maintain data integrity.
  • Utilize Yardi Voyager to process accounts daily, manage tenant ledgers, and handle owner distributions.
  • Apply specialized principles of Real Estate Accounting to monthly close cycles and variance analysis.
  • Assist with due diligence activities during property transitions and new client onboarding
  • Prepare reports and analysis for internal leadership and external clients
  • Support other general accounting responsibilities and special projects as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
  • Minimum 3 years of multifamily property accounting experience
  • Yardi Voyager experience (required)
  • Self-starter who takes ownership and doesn't wait to be told what to do next
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple properties simultaneously
  • Someone who brings energy, wants to grow with the company, and takes pride in getting the work right

Why Anterra

  • Competitive salary: $80,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience
  • Low-cost medical plan option with company-paid short-term and long-term disability
  • Optional dental and vision plans
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Generous PTO plan
  • Life insurance
  • Hybrid work environment in a growing corporate office with a team that works hard and supports each other

All offers are contingent on background check and pre-employment drug screening.
