COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS)

Anterra Management Corporation is continuing to closely monitor the novel cornavirus (COVID-19) situation carefully and is taking all necessary measures in accordance with the guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Nothing is more important to us than creating a safe and welcoming community for our current residents, potential residents and employees. With heightened sensitivity and an evolving situation surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19), we are working with our teams to ensure our standards and practices keep you safe.

This is rapidly evolving situation, and the CDC risk assessment will be providing updated information and guidance as it becomes available.

WHAT IS ANTERRA MANAGEMENT DOING AT MY COMMUNITY TO PREPARE AND RESPOND? Expand

While our offices remain temporarily closed, our on-site staff is still meeting, by appointment only, with residents and prospective residents. Our property staff is still available via phone or email during business hours and will respond as soon as they are able.

All employees, vendors, residents and prospective residents must wear some form of face mask or covering while in the office or on a tour of the property and maintain a 6-foot buffer, to the extent possible, between individuals. Only one additional guest per appointment will be allowed in the office.

The Anterra Management Corporation team continues to closely monitor this situation and will continue to provide updated information from the Centers for Disease Control, and make any necessary on-site adjustments following the recommendations of local and national health professionals.

CAN I GET OUT OF MY LEASE AGREEMENT? Expand

While we realize that you and your family may be facing uncertainty with employment or source of income, which can result in challenges making rent payments, we unfortunately are not able to release residents from lease obligations at this time. We understand your frustration regarding the situation and the challenges this creates. Please know that we are actively researching local and national financial support resources that we can refer residents to even as we get updates on legislation and other relief resources. If you are unable to make your payment at this time, we encourage you to reach out to your General Manager to request and discuss a possible payment plan and waived late fees with approved COVID-19 paperwork. We also encourage any residents facing hardship to explore emergency rental assistance programs that may be available in your area. You are also welcome to exercise the provisions in the Lease Addendum for Early Termination of Lease Contract, but otherwise, the lease remains in effect.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR PICKING UP PACKAGES? Expand

◦ We are not taking package deliveries in the offices at this time. Please coordinate with your courier to arrange delivery to your door or alternative options at this time.
◦ Properties that utilize package lockers or other systems will continue to distribute packages through those systems

WILL THERE BE ANY REFUNDS GIVEN DUE TO AMENITY CLOSURES? Expand

We are closing amenities in accordance with the CDC’s guidelines for social distancing. We are not providing refunds for any amenity closures at this time.

HOW ARE YOU HANDLING APARTMENT TOURS? Expand

For the safety of our prospective residents, community and team members, all in-person tours are by appointment only.  Some form of face mask or covering while in the office or on a tour of the property is required.  Please maintain a 6-foot buffer, to the extent possible, between individuals. Only on additional guest per appointment will be allowed in the office. We are also offering personal virtual tours, by appointment only, to explore our community virtually from the comfort of your home.

HOW ARE WORK ORDERS BEING HANDLED? Expand

Maintenance staff will continue to complete both emergency and non-emergency work order. Please keep in mind that residents are asked to wear a facial mask or covering and to practice social distancing when our maintenance staff enter the interior of an occupied apartment. You can enter a service request on your community's Resident Portal.

Additional services that are performed inside the apartments (such as pest control and contracted work) will continue.

HOW DO I PAY MY RENT? Expand

All rental payments should be made on-line. Either with ACH (check), Credit Card, or electronic Money Order.  You can make these payments through your communities' Online Payment Portal. (Please make sure you have visited your community's website and registered for on-line payments. If you need any assistance setting up your account, please contact management.)

If you have reduced hours or loss of employment as a result of the COVID-19 impact and would like to request additional time to pay your rent, it is imperative you reach out to management as soon as possible to complete necessary paperwork.
